Blessed are Those Who Hunger and Thirst For Righteousness

Passage: MT 5:6 - "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled."

Description:
Food and drink is vital to physical life. Without it we die. But merely putting food into our pockets is not going to satisfy! Neither do we expect to be nourished by filling up our stomachs with junk!

Righteousness is vital to the spiritual life. Without it we die.  But what does this mean practically? What does it mean to eat righteousness, and to be nourished by righteousness?  And in the first place, do we have the spiritual appetite?
