Do you know that the Gospel has nothing cheap to offer? If you want to know God you must be prepared to pay the price. The Kingdom of God is compared to a Pearl of great price. And how do you gain that Pearl of great price ? You are going to sell all to obtain that Pearl of great price!

Do you know that the key note in the book of Philippians is "Joy"? Let's look at the 1st chapter of Philippians and see the marvelous picture being portrayed here of Christian as soldier of Christ. Being soldier of Christ requires that readiness to suffer for Him; and yet suffer with joy!! Do you understand that?
